Blacktown Youth Services Association is a Not-for-Profit community organisation that provides a range of services and programs to all young people aged between 12 - 24 in the Blacktown LGA. BYSA has been a cornerstone youth centre in Blacktown since 1988. There have been many changes to the service over the years but one thing remains the same, we are here to support young people!
At the core of our approach is a framework built on the premise that young people possess invaluable insights into their own lives. Given the proper support and opportunities, they can actively shape decisions and devise innovative solutions to address the multifaceted social challenges they encounter.
Youth HQ: Community Catalyst empowers disadvantaged young people to feel safe, connected and supported within their communities. Our multi-faceted approach fosters confidence, self-
determination and resilience, enabling them to navigate life's challenges with courage and determination.
Blacktown Youth Services Association (BYSA) would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Darug Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who share this space with the 48 family. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
