Our goal is to ensure that no young person gets left behind, no matter what. We believe that young people should have a seat at all tables where decisions are made about their lives and communities. We want to change the way youth services are delivered to ensure they are relevant, meaningful and impactful for the young people of today. It is our intention that the voice's of young people are heard loudly and clearly by those who are in positions of power.
Our vision is to support young people to be inspired, skilled and active members of their own community.
We focus on early intervention, combining lived experience with the latest research. Our youth co-developed model, Youth HQ: Community Catalyst, builds on over 30 years of frontline experience, using a multifaceted approach to support young people across multiple domains and gradually increase community integration.
Blacktown Youth Services Association (BYSA) would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Darug Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who share this space with the 48 family. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
Support Blacktown Youth Services Association in empowering our local youth. Your donation helps us provide safe spaces, vital programs, and resources for young people facing life's biggest challenges. Every contribution makes a difference!
